For a start let’s recall why do we need these “Title”.
Usually we have many different windows on monitor. We need some way to explain the program (UPTO) which windows we want to manipulate. Since UPTO is universal program, it can manipulate all the windows (even non-pokertable).
To describe a window, we need to set two parameters: the window class and window title . Window class we either choose from the drop down list (for pre-defined rooms), or identify with the help of Grabber. Since the window class is unique for each poker room, so choosing a class, we thus tell UPTO that we will only operate the windows of certain poker room.
But that's not enough, since all the windows include the main lobby, the tournament lobby, hand replayers etc. So we need to set Title to select only those tables where we play. In UPTO a very simple method of selecting the right tables is implemented. We set the Title (some word or phrase) and UPTO select all tables, whose title contains this word or phrase. For example, setting the Title 'Hold' (as the part of phrase 'Texas Hold'em'), we select all the tables, whose titles contains 'Hold'. Thus, defining Title, we can select only necessary tables: either cash, or tournaments, or Turbo, etc. This method of window selection is usually enough, but not always.
'Advanced Window Title' –is a more flexible and advanced tool to select windows.
After pressing the small button above Window Title, you will see the sub window, in which you can set up to 3 key phrases and select 1 of 3 reserved operands (‘and’, ‘or’, ‘and not’) between them. Let me explain the work of it by examples.
Example 1: Key Phrase1: ‘Double’, operand1:’ and’, Key Phrase2: ‘Turbo’.
It turns out: ‘Double and Turbo’. Operand ‘and’ means logical operation "and". This will select all tables whose titles contain both phrase ‘Double’ and ‘Turbo’.
Example 2: '45 Players and Turbo and $1.00 '- the title contains ‘45 Players’ and ‘Turbo’ and ‘$ 1.00’.
Example 3: '45 Players or 90 Players' - 'or' - means the logical operation 'or', you will select tables whose titles contain either '45 Players' or '90 Players', i.e. one of these phrases is enough to select the table.
Example 4: 'Fifty50 and not Turbo' - 'and not' - means an exception, as a result you will select tables in the title of which there is the phrase 'Fifty50', but at the same time there is no phrase 'Turbo'.
Example 5: '* and not PartyPoker' - all the tables, except table with the phrase 'PartyPoker'.
These examples are enough to understand the principle of operation of Advanced Window Title. Now you can select windows in different groups, selecting them according to various criteria. But, as usual, you can set Title with one simple phrase.
